I have started to make my very own quilt blankie for my lap. This will be my very own quilt made just by me for me. I have found an easy block called maple leaf. I have,for many years, loved this block, so I thought why not make something for me?
I cheated tho..I used chain sewing and sewed 2 squares on top of each other then cut them in half, but I am loving this.

I love this maple leaf quilt pattern! I used to use the old pencil method to get my triangle patches to work out, but then I discovered Thangles! I have to say I LOVE them.
I use them to teach quilting to teens. No worries about pencil marks, and your points always come out perfect!
I can't wait to see more progress on your quilt!
